Day 3: Day 3: Fes – Guided tour of the Medina
After breakfast you will begin our guided tour of the Fes medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you may choose to eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will continue the tour and return to your hotel for the evening.
Day 4: Fes – Chefchaouen – Tangier
After breakfast, you will leave to Tangier through the farmland, and small villages before you reach the impressive Rif Mountains. On the way, you will visit the white town of Chefchaouen which nestles in the hollow of the two mountains – Ech-Chaoua (The Horns) – from which it takes its name. Steep narrow streets with white and indigo limewashed buildings, small squares, ornate fountains and houses with elaborately decorated doorways and red tile roofs make this a delightful town. Enjoy your lunch in one of the traditional Restaurant with its atmospheric view over the Ech-Chaoua Mountains. In the afternoon, drop off into Tangier.
